Studio Policies

1. Attendance
Regular attendance is essential for steady progress. Please make every effort to attend your scheduled lesson each week.

2. No Make-Up Lessons
Due to a full teaching schedule, no make-up lessons will be offered for missed or canceled lessons, regardless of the reason. This policy ensures fairness and consistency for all students.

3. Holidays & Teacher Absences        

Lessons will not be held on statutory or school holidays. If the teacher must cancel a lesson, a make-up or credit will be offered.

4. Practice Expectations
Students are expected to practice regularly between lessons. A recommended minimum is 15–30 minutes per day, depending on age and level. Progress is directly linked to consistent practice.

5. Materials & Books
Students are responsible for purchasing their own lesson books and materials. The teacher will provide recommendations based on the student’s level and goals.

6. Payment Policy
Tuition is divided into equal monthly payments due at the beginning of each month. Late payments may incur a fee. No refunds will be issued for missed lessons.  Accepted payments include cash or e-transfers.

7. Communication
All communication regarding scheduling, questions, or concerns should be directed to the teacher via email or text. Please allow 24–48 hours for a response.

8. Parental Involvement
For younger students, parents are encouraged to attend lessons or check in regularly to support home practice and reinforce learning.

9. Termination of Lessons
A minimum of two weeks' notice is required to discontinue lessons. The teacher also reserves the right to discontinue lessons due to lack of progress, poor attendance, or inappropriate behaviour.
